Imports of Chinese Solar Panels to the United States increased before tariff imposed by Trump

At least 65% of the world’s solar panels are manufactured in China, its affordable cost affects USA manufacturing companies, or this is what these companies argued to ask President Donald Trump to impose a tariff for imports of these products.

In response to this request, Trump decided to impose the payment of tariffs to “protect” USA companies from economic imports from Asia.

The cost will be 30% in tariffs on imported solar panels. However, the decision was announced earlier, so buyers were quick to acquire Chinese solar panels before imposing the extra cost.

The USA president explained that the tariff of 30% will gradually decrease over the next three years.
